A welcoming, caring community is exactly what we felt walking into Hastings Coffee Co. on the afternoon of Saturday, September 4, 2025. It permeates the atmosphere. Chamane, who is co-owner with her husband Marcus, literally welcomed us with open arms and a huge smile. She didn't know us. We didn't know her. That changed quickly. The three of us sat together: chatting, laughing, indulging in good vibes. There was so much depth to this meeting by chance, after a brief passing while we chatted with a neighboring company's partner owners. To one another, we offered strength, understanding, and encouragement.
